Description

Pantoprazole sodium is the first-generation proton pump inhibitor used for the management of GERD, to prevent the recurrence of stomach ulcers, and for the treatment of pathological hypersecretory conditions including ZE Syndrome. It can also be found in quadruple regimens for the treatment of H. pylori infections along with other antibiotics.It prevents the final step in gastric acid production in the stomach by covalently binding to sulfhydryl groups of cysteines found on the H⁺K⁺-ATPase enzyme at the secretory surface of the gastric parietal cell. 

Domperidone is a dopamine receptor antagonist used as a peristaltic stimulant and anti-emetic agent for dyspepsia, indigestion, epigastric pain, nausea, and vomiting.
